Online Journalism



This Course represents one of the latest challenges addressed to journalism by the development of electronic communication systems and especially, the Internet. The Course has the goal to offer to students the necessary basic abilities for practicing the on-line journalism. Our students see what are the differences between online journalism and other types of media and learn a set of knowledge that would help them to write and publish online materials independently. The students will have the opportunity to implement the theoretical knowledge during the course, but also during other online courses of the School and prepare for the Digital Learning Environment component following the course throughout the second semester.

The Course is a continuation of other programs where have been studies elements of Online Journalism, like Photojournalism, Visual Journalism, News, Reportage, etc.; and also represents an evaluation syllabus, comprising the all the learned topics at the School. Multimedia practice takes place ever week after the completion of the course on a training website opened only for the students to experiment and published all their writing assignments.
