  • Alina Radu,
  • Is the Director of the Chisinau-based newspaper, Ziarul de Garda.
    With a journalism degree from the State University of Moldova,
    Radu has worked in both print and broadcast and has been internationally recognized for her work as an investigative journalist and documentarian. She is member of the board of International Association for Women in Radio and TV (www.iawrt.org) and member of other international media organizations.

  • Angela Ivanesi,
  • Is the designer of the weekly newspaper “Panorama”. Graduated from Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Moldova State University. Worked as designer & layout, technical editor for publications and media organizations such as the weekly investigative newspaper Ziarul de Garda, Gazeta Romaneasca, magazine “Album de familie”, TARA, Press Group (GP) FLUX, and the Association of Independent Press (API)."API"s trainer in graphical design of periodic publications.

  • Artur Corghencea,
  • Is working as a head of News Department  for Pro TV, a Chisinau-based TV station, where he specializes in political and economic news. Corghencea received his college and graduate education in communication sciences from the State University of Moldova.

  • Constanta Popescu-Mereacre,
  • Has a BA in Economy (International Economic Relations, Moldovan Academy of Economic Studies), as well as an MA diploma in Political Economy from the University College London, UK (2003). She worked during 2004-2010 at the British Embassy Chisinau as Project Manager/ Economist and now she is a freelance economic expert.

  • Corina Cepoi,
  • Has a B.A. in English Philology from the State University of Moldova, two master’s degrees’ from State University (1999-2000) and the Missouri School of Journalism (2000-2002, USA). Internships at the Cape Cod Times newspaper and at the International Journalism Center (USA). She also was a Chevening scholar at Oxford University (UK). At the moment, she is the Project Director of Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism at the Independent Journalism Center.

  • Corina Samciuc,
  • Cisco Instruction at the Regional Cisco Academy in Moldova. Licensee in Mathematics. Teaching experience includes foreign languages, IT and specialized seminars. Four years of experiences as technical coordinator in the IATP program in Moldova. At present, she works as project manager COMPUTARIS.

  • Liliana Vitu-Esanu,
  • Holds an MA in Modern European Studies with the London Metropolitan University, UK (2003)
    and BA in Journalism and Communication Sciences with the State University of Moldova (2001). She worked as Press and Public Affairs Officer at the British Embassy in Chisinau (2004-2006), was the BBC Correspondent in Moldova during 1998-2004, and worked as political analyst for the Freedom House, Nations in Transit report, 2007-2009. Liliana is the head of News and Current Affairs Department at TV Moldova 1 from March 2010.

  • Nadine Gogu,
  • Is the director of the Independent Journalism Center from Chisinau and  member of the Association of Francophone Journalists. Is correspondent for Reporters Without Borders (2003-2005). Worked as deputy Editor-in-chief of TIMPUL weekly (2001-2002), editor-in-chief of FLUX News Agency (2000-2001). Graduated from the State University of Moldova, Chisinau (1987-1992) and magna cum laude from the School of Journalism and Broadcasting, Oklahoma State University, USA (2005-2007). Summer Internship, Missouri School of Journalism, University of Columbia, Missouri, USA (05/2006-08/2006).

  • Nicolae Pojoga,
  • Is Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism at the State University of Moldova, General Photography professor at the Academy  of Arts of Moldova.  He is also trained in photojournalism TOT courses by the South-East European Network for the Professionalization of the Media (SEENPM). Pojoga is a   member of the Association  of Romanian Art Photographers, the Documentary Association AVE Film and the Committee for Freedom of the Press in Moldova. His specializations include ethics in   photojournalism and reporting in extreme situations.

  • Petru Macovei,
  • Executive Director of the Association of Independent Press. Graduated from the Department of Romanian Language and Literature, State Pedagogical University "Ion Creanga", Chisinau. Worked as editor-in-chief, independent weekly Ora Locala (Local Hour), radio editor, State Company "Teleradio-Moldova", reporter & manager of the weekly Bastina, published in Ialoveni district.

  • Valentina Ursu,
  • Graduated from the Department of Journalism, State University of Moldova (1988). For sixteen years she worked as a reporter, commentator and editor for Radio Moldova, Moldova Broadcast Company (1988-2004). Internship at different foreign media institutions: Radio Romania (1993, 1997, 2002), Radio Cairo, Egypt (1995), Radio Berlin, Germany (2000). At present, she works as an editor for Radio Free Europe.

  • Vasile Botnaru,
  • Is the head of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, the Moldova office. He has taught layout, print and broadcast journalism at the State University of Moldova and at the Free International University of Moldova. Botnaru was listed among the 10 most popular journalists by the Chisinau Press Club for three consecutive years in the mid 90's.

  • Vitalie Dogaru,
  • Is a producer and television host at Publika TV station and professor of Journalism at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences, Moldova State University. He is the former academic coordinator of Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism (2006-2009). Also Dogaru was correspondent for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (2002-2006) and a Trainer Coordinator for Media Center for Youth (2001-2005), where he taught radio journalism courses to young people. He edited part-time the electronic magazine www.azi.md (1998-2006).

  • Yana Cozari-Ivancenko,
  • Worked for "AnaliticMedia Grup" - ORT in Moldova, then TV-7. Now - special correspondent for TRM from Brussels, with accreditation in European Comission and European Parliment.
    She has two higher education diplomas: Department of Russian Language and Literature, State University of Moldova, and postgraduate studies at the State University in Moldova, Department of English, Translator.
  • Liliana Barbarosie,
  • Being the former student of Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism she is involved in teaching News and Basic Radio Skills and the Online Journalism course and publication. Now she is working as a reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, the Moldova office. Barbarosie  graduated from the Department of Romanian Language and Literature, State University of Moldova.

  • Vlad Bercu,
  • For several years Vlad Bercu was working as a editor in chief for “Basa Press” News Agency. Now he is the Editor-in-chief of  the ECOnomist weekly and the president of the Economic Journalists Association. Bercu graduated from the Journalism Department at State University of Moldova.
